Residentials For Schools and Groups Harbour
Challenge and Hamworthy Outdoor Education Centre
have again teamed up with the
National Trust
to offer an action packed, educational, residential
experience on Brownsea Island, an
SSSI site based in the heart of Poole Harbour. Activities
are arranged to suit your school and students’ needs, ranging from sailing and
kayaking to orienteering and archery. Our activities are run by qualified
instructors. All students are given the opportunity to gain National Governing
Body qualifications in sailing and kayaking. Real hands-on conservation work is
also offered as part of the package. On the academic side we are able to offer
Key-stage 1 and 2 activities in geography, history and science. Our
aim is to provide the very best outdoor education experience for your students. Both
centre's are registered with the Adventure
Activities Licensing Authority and
The Royal Yachting
Association
and carry public liability insurance. Costs
for this action packed week start from £225 per person. With free staff places,
this package is designed around 32 students. We
are currently taking bookings for 2008 / 09. If you require any further
