August News Update Harbour Challenge participates in Parkstone Youth Week. Harbour Challenge entered it first Parkstone Youth Week in the Onboard Laser Pico category the team was drawn from the OnBoard Saturday group. We managed to come a very respectable 2nd,3rd, 4th, and 6th and we also managed to take the team prize. Well done to the team we look forward to supporting you in the up coming event in September.
OnBoard Harbour Challenge has been appointed as an Onboard Sailing Centre. Our first project under this scheme is working in partnership with Hamworthy Middle School, to provide sailing lessons for a group of children every Saturday for sixteen weeks. July News Update New Staff for 2008 Kayaking at Harbour Challenge is taking on a new dimension this season with us employing two new full time coaches. Kate is twenty one and has a passion for the sport that is enthusiastic to the extreme, Kate is also doubling up as an administration assistant and fundraising GURU a most welcome addition to the team. for any enquires for one to one tuition in kayaking or fundraising, Kate can be contacted through the office or via email kate@harbourchallenge.co.uk Jamie is 18, and our resident stunt kayak enthusiast, Jamie was a Harbour Challenge student himself before going to Rockley Watersports, we are please to welcome him back, Jamie is currently completing his modern apprenticeship in activity leadership with us and is also a welcome addition to the team. Rachel is 21 and very passionate about sailing, Rachel is a welcome addition to the sailing team , bringing with her a enthusiasm and passion that she readily transfers to her students.
