Welcome to Harbour ChallengeEstablished in 1996 Harbour Challenge is situated on the south side of Brownsea Island located on a SSSI site and also the birth place of Scouting, we are located in the very heart of Poole Harbour, providing us with one of the safest tidal area's to work in. We are a charity based water-sports centre providing a very high quality, professional teaching service to youth and adults alike. We are registered with Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and affiliated to the British Canoe Union (BCU) With Poole Harbour literally on our doorstep, we have immediate access to a superb teaching environment, a fleet of dinghies to choose from and a team of experienced RYA Coaches and Instructors to guide you, Harbour Challenge does provide a high quality dinghy sailing experience which is second to none. Whether you are a youngster in an Pico for the first time or experiencing the thrill of flying a spinnaker, our emphasis will be on practical hands-on experience in a safe learning environment.
